The 2024 farming season has kicked off in Orumba South Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The Transition Committee Chairman of the local government, Prince Neville Uchendu, who kick-started the season in Akpu, alongside a community leader large-scale farmer, Chief Emeka Agba, described Orumba South as the home of prosperity in everything.
He commended Chief Agba for his significant efforts in agriculture, and for his encouragements and blessings to Ndi Orumba; both at home and in the diaspora, urging others to emulate him in agro supports; in line with the vision of Governor Chukwuma Soludo in making Anambra livable and prosperous.
