Technologist, Afoekelu Expresses Concern Over Absence Of International Standard TV Station In Southeast

… says there’s work plan, roadmap to establishing the lucrative business

A studio technologist, Ugochukwu Afoekelu, has expressed concern that “Of all the millionaires that the Southeast parades, none of them could invest in such a lucrative business of establishing an international standard television station” in the region.

He stated this on social media while reacting to the visit of the embattled National Chairman of APGA, Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa, to Arise TV, and visit of the (court certified) National Chairman of APGA, Chief Edozie Njoku, to Channels TV; all in one day.

Describing the situation as evidence of poor investment on electronic media in the Southeast, Afoekelu said it’s shameful that the two Igbo politicians traveled to Southwest for the interview, wondering how much the groups spent on the media war alone.

“How much did the groups spend on this media war alone and who gots it. How much will it cost an investor from southeast to build an international television station like Channels, Arise TV, AIT, or TVC in any state of the southeast?”.

Afoekelu explained that establishing TV station of international “is a sure return on investment if adequately managed”, adding that aside having a good platform and opportunity, Seun, Useni, Abbati, etc are not better than the crops of journalists in the Southeast.

“Please let us work together, if you are interested. There is a good work plan, a roadmap to establishing such are lucrative business in the southeast.
