… says Anambra Gov. isn’t leaving APGA
The Chairman of All Soludo Support Groups and Convener of Soludo Support Group, SSG, Mr Chinedu Nwoye, has said that the development projects, policies and programmes of Governor Chukwuma Soludo administration are known and felt by the masses, reason it’s easier to support the Governor.
Speaking at the inauguration of Solution Teachers Movement, a support group for the Soludo administration under Post Primary School Services Commission, PPSSC, Mr Nwoye, who is the Chief of Protocol and Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor, charged the various Soludo support groups to ensure that they get down to the grassroots and translate their supports to votes.
He maintained that so far; Governor Soludo, who has plans to expand the free education programme of his administration, has done more than people who stayed eight years in office as Governors, and is not leaving APGA under Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa.
On insecurity, the Governor’s Protocol officer called for citizens’ support through intel gathering and timely sharing with security agencies.
The Executive Chairman, PPSSC Awka, Professor Nkechi Ikediugwu, said the teachers are only supporting good governance the Soludo administration is providing and clamouring for its continuation.
She listed the free education programme, provision of laboratory equipment, timely payment of teachers salaries, teachers recruitment, empower and promotion as some of the Soludo’s giant strides in the education sector that have direct positive impact on the masses.
Contributing, the Secretary, PPSSC Awka, Mrs Benedine Anagor, noted the population of children in public-public schools has swelled due to the free education programme of the Soludo administration, counting it (the programme) as one that has taken burdens off shoulders of parents.
