Accord Party has elected Mr Charles Chidi Onyeze as her candidate for Anambra governorship election scheduled to hold on 8th November 2025.
In his acceptance speech after polling 96 out of 105 votes in an election he contested unopposed, the Accord Party candidate regretted that what is happening in the state presently is not what citizens are proud of, and promised to meet expectations of the people on assuming duty as the Governor of the state.
On his qualities and confidence to unseat the incumbent, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, Mr Onyeze said he believes in action than talking.
Earlier in his remark, the Anambra State Chairman of Accord Party, Chief Bartho Igwedibia, said unlike other party’s primary elections that witnessed troubles, Accord Party’s went smooth and successful.
On why he has remained in the party and not jumped into another, Chief Igwedibia called for patience on the side of politicians, reminding that power comes from God, and He can use anybody wherever he or she is.
