Deborah’s Foundation, Ide Global Movement Host One-Day Seminar On “After NYSC, What Next?”

In a significant step toward empowering Nigerian graduates and shaping the nation’s future leaders, Deborah’s Foundation, in collaboration with the Ide Global Movement, will host a one-day seminar themed “After NYSC, What Next?” on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at the Onitsha North Local Government Secretariat, G.R.A., Anambra State.

This marks the second edition of the seminar organized by Deborah’s Foundation. An initiative launched to address the growing concerns of young Nigerians about life after the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program. The seminar is designed to provide practical guidance on career planning, entrepreneurship, self-employment, and personal development.

The event will be chaired by Hon. Sir Charles Uchenna Okafor (Wiper), former Commissioner for Transport, and former Commissioner for Trade, Commerce and Wealth Creation, Anambra State.

The keynote address will be delivered by High Chief Dr. Azubuike Augustine Ekweozor, Rff (Ide Umuawulu, Nwanayoeze)—founder of the Ide Global Movement, maritime consultant, registered freight forwarder, and a widely respected advocate for youth empowerment.

Other distinguished guests and speakers include:

Engr. Kingsley Obika (Akudo N’Obunka) – MD/CEO, Rock-Link Real Estate Company Nig. Ltd.

Mr. Christopher Molokwu – MD/CEO, Anambra Broadcasting Service (Guest of Honour)

Mr. Uchenna Udeh – MD, Vidalux Global Resources

Mrs. Victoria Hipolite Chibuzo – Police officer, youth advocate, and mentor, who will speak on the consequences of crime, youth development, and effective networking.

Speaking ahead of the event, Chief Dr. Azubuike Ekweozor said that the seminar would be more than just a gathering. it would serve as a launchpad to help young people develop the right mindset, gain practical skills, and find clarity to build meaningful careers and purposeful lives after NYSC.
