The Deputy Majority Leader of Anambra State House Of Assembly and Member Representing Njikoka Two Constituency, Chief Hon. Dr. Jude Akpua, has been honoured by Tansian University Umunya, Oyi LGA of Anambra State for being proactive and dynamic in carrying out legislative duties, being a model for the youths, and an exponent of education.
Dr Akpua received the honor during the “Faculty Day Celebration/ Award Ceremony” organized by the Faculty of Management and Social Science of the University held on Thursday, 22nd May 2025.
Speaking after receiving the ‘Outstanding Achievement Award’, Dr. Akpua noted that qualitative education remains the cornerstone of societal development, and commended the Faculty/University for nurturing the minds of the students for a greater and prosperous future.
Represented by his Special Assistant, Mr Ejike Chidozie, the Lawmaker urged students to prioritize education for a better future.
Dr. Akpua stated that through legislations, he has continued to contribute in crafting policies that address the needs of the students, educators and educational system in general.
