Anambra State Commissioner for Special Duties, Rt Hon. Barr. Beverly Ikpeazu-Nkemdiche has monitored the continuous voter registration exercise that commenced today in the 326 wards of the state.
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, scheduled the CVR exercise to hold from today July 8 to 17, 2025.
While monitoring the exercise in six different wards in Onitsha South Local Government Area, the Commissioner observed different technical hitches that delayed the exercise especially with the biometric capturing machines.
She, therefore, called on INEC to quickly address the challenges to enable Ndi Anambra who are qualified and willing to vote to register for the exercise.
Commissioner Ikpeazu-Nkemdiche praised those who braced the rains to participate in the exercise and called on other qualified individuals to come out, get registered and be part of decision making by casting their vote on November 8, 2025.
