AIG Zone 13, Oladipo Urges Veterans To Help Improve Anambra Security Architecture

The Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 13, Ukpo, AIG Abayomi Peter Oladipo, has charged Anambra veterans to always input their wealth of knowledge in improving the security architecture of the state.

 

AIG Oladipo, who made this statement in his office at the Zone 13 Headquarters, Ukpo, Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State when some retired personnel who are also members of the Nigerian Legion, Anambra State Council visited, described veterans as “valuable national assets”, and acknowledged their wealth of experience and service to the state and country at large.

He urged the veterans to always maintain legal and coordinated approaches, especially in intelligence sharing, saying that it will go a long way in helping security personnel in the state, especially in this electioneering time.

The veterans, who were led by Assistant Commandant General (ACG) of the Nigerian Legion, Benedict Ezeaku Agbogu, while commending AIG Oladipo’s proactive approach to policing, noted that military veterans, with their discipline and field experience, are well placed to contribute in areas such as intelligence gathering and community engagement, thanking the AIG for the advice and encouragement, and pledging to put in their best as always to support efforts in tackling insecurity across the state and zone, as well as strengthening public safety.

Other members present at the zone included the Council Secretary, Captain Mike Onwudinjo, among others.
